• A BEAUTIFUL turquoise lagoon with the most spectacular views. The lagoon is shallow, which is great for kids. And on the other side, water sports are offered.

Can be visited by car or by boat! Highly suggest to arrive early in the morning if driving, around 8am, because the parking lot fills up. Trust me, you want to be able to park in the lot.

Bring euros to pay for the small fees for entering the park, parking, and for beverages/ snacks.

From the parking lot, it is about a 1-2km down-hill hike to the beach. Definitely would wear sneakers for the walk to and from the beach.

Would recommend reading more about the travel/ walk here.

  • Another beautiful beach in Crete known for its pink sand. The water is shallow and calm, a great place to spend a day with family/ kids.

You can rent lounge chairs under umbrellas for a small fee and there are stands that sell trinkets/ snacks.

  • My uncle and aunt spoke very highly of their paragliding adventure in Crete.

If it is something you’re up for, defintely look into it!

  • Thelma & Louise is the cutest boutique in Chania. Definitely a must-stop to check out local Crete/ Greek designers!

Picked up a beautiful two-piece set and earrings.
