• One of my favorite spots during our whole visit to Greece. Gramboussa is located on a corner spot, easily spotted by its large door adjacent to their parking lot. The restaurant opens at 12:30 pm and we visited after our trip to Balos Beach (highly recommend this combo).

The menu is filled with many great options. Highlights we loved: stuffed squash blossoms, artichoke hearts, lamb baked in filo dough with honey (still dreaming of this dish). Every item was beautifully plated and delicious.

  • Tamam is an institution in Chania. The building dates back to 1400 AC and is located in a historic and lively area of Chania to explore before or after dinner.

A popular restaurant to visit in Chania that offers traditional Crete and Greek dishes. Don’t forget to make book a table in their main building or outdoor tables!

  • Rethymo has numerous dining options, but To Pigadi is not a place to miss. Can easily make a reservation for lunch or dinner on their website. A great spot for fresh fish, lamb, and local wines.

  • A favorite in Chania. The servers and owner are very sweet and attentive. “The Maridaki” offers a variety of delicious seafood dishes with fresh fish that you can choose from and can decide how it is to be cooked.

Also, dinner ends with a complimentary strawberry ice cream with chocolate sauce and Raki!
