Our favorite restaurant in Athens, we went twice. O Thanasis is constantly busy, located in the famous Bairaktaris Central renown for the kebabs.

We ordered the Thanasis Kebab and Yogourtlou Kebab with a side of Tzatziki. Also one cannot go wrong with their 4 EUR house wine. Please go and say hi to their main server Mike for us! Very efficient, nice, and great service.

Great spot for lunch to grab some quick bites. Zisis offers a variety of seafoods in a cone that plays homage to the roots of the restaurant’s history to fishermen.

We enjoyed their sardines in a cone and a large seafood salad. Please note their hours are 1:00pm to 7:30pm.

A unique location on the stone stairs to grab a drink or appetizer while people watching. Yiasemi is located close to the Acropolis and can get quite busy in the evening.
